An aviation sisterhood · Croatia

Aviation is closer than you think.
Building visibility, mentorship, community and opportunities for women and future generations in aviation and STEM.
About us
An aviation sisterhood and community dedicated to enabling future generations of aviation professionals, enthusiasts and leaders.
Founded by women from different aviation backgrounds, the association was created to make aviation feel more visible, accessible and welcoming — especially to girls and women who may never have imagined there was a place for them in this world. Aviation is not distant. It is not reserved only for a selected few. And it is far more than pilots and cabin crew. Croatia is part of the EASA aviation system, one of the most respected aviation environments in the world, creating opportunities for education, careers and international mobility across many aviation fields. Through mentorship, events, outreach, networking and community, the association aims to help future generations enter aviation with more confidence, visibility and support than ever before.
Aviation is an ecosystem built by many professions, personalities and paths. Women in Aviation Croatia aims to highlight the full spectrum of aviation careers and opportunities, including:

Our story
What began as a small informal gathering between women interested in aviation slowly became something much larger.
The first meetings were small. A few women, a few conversations, a shared feeling that aviation in Croatia often feels distant, intimidating or inaccessible — especially to women entering it for the first time.
But something unexpected happened once these women met each other.
Pilots, mechanics, aviation professionals and enthusiasts immediately began sharing knowledge, opportunities, contacts and support. The energy was efficient, warm and deeply collaborative from the very beginning.
Women in Aviation Croatia officially grew from these meetings, with a shared vision of creating a stronger, more visible and more connected aviation community for future generations.
The association stands on the shoulders of the women who paved the way before us — and aims to make the path into aviation more open, visible and welcoming for those who come next.
